What is the Madurantakam Global City Project?
The Government of Tamil Nadu announced a major “Global City” project in the 2025–26 State Budget. This integrated township, planned over approximately 2,000 acres, aims to address rapid urbanization by creating a well-planned, mixed-use urban ecosystem instead of unstructured expansion.
